Applied Food Sciences and Wellements Join Forces To Boost Distribution and Sales of Caffe Sanora
Licensing agreement follows trend in companies using creative methods to boost sales in challenging economic times
Austin, Tex. – (February 2009) – Now consumers will be able to find their favorite natural and organic antioxidant coffee at even more retailers nationwide. Applied Food Sciences, Inc., makers of Caffe Sanora®, and Wellements, LLC, a Scottsdale-based sales and marketing company specializing in natural and organic consumer products for wellness, announce that they have launched a distribution and licensing agreement. AFS has granted Wellements the exclusive sales and marketing rights for Caffe Sanora in the United States and Canada, making Wellements the sole distributor in those countries. Caffe Sanora utilizes the patented Healthy Roast™ process, which preserves the natural antioxidants of the green coffee bean that are lost in traditional high-heat roasting.
Both companies see the agreement as a win-win: Caffe Sanora gains increased visibility through Wellements’ extensive and well-established distribution, sales and marketing network, while Wellements adds another excellent product to its growing inventory of health and wellness products.
