The high worldwide consumption of coffee has stimulated
research by Applied Food Sciences and other organizations
to study the biological activities of green and
roasted coffee. Green coffee beans have been shown
to possess antioxidant activity; in fact they contain
large amounts of chlorogenic acid and other powerful
antioxidants. AFS offers Green Coffee Antioxidant
(GCA), a bulk extract of these powerful antioxidants
for use in products ranging from tablets to food
and beverages.
GCA is exclusively supplied in bulk (5kg and 25kg
sealed drums) by Applied Food Sciences, Inc..
